These Venetian glass bricks in Polished Arctic Crystal create the first impression of the space as you enter, setting the tone for the brand new creative space, launched exclusively for Ellison Studio's trade partners the 'By Appointment' Designer Suite offers a refined and pared-back environment to experience their collections up close.
Conceived as both a creative studio and working showroom, their new headquarters is the central hub of Ellison Studios - and first major headquarters since founding the studio eight years ago.
Ellison's collection lives alongside curated works from local and international makers: lighting by Volker Haug, a considered art collection and custom detailing by Studio Henry Wilson, along with the glowing Austral Bricks staircase, echoing an appreciation for design with soul. A considered space within the heart of Sydney's design district - where creativity and collaboration converge.
Venice – a city built on water, bridges and light. For centuries, Venetian artisans have mastered glassmaking, shaping pieces that capture both beauty and function. The Austral Bricks Venetian Glass collection continues this legacy, bringing the qualities you’d expect from designer coloured glass – clarity, radiance and refinement – into an architectural form.
Glass bricks are more than decorative: they diffuse natural light, create privacy without heaviness, and add structural rhythm to walls and partitions. Their unique ability to play with light and shadow makes them a favourite in both modernist and contemporary design.

Venice – historic city of bridges and canals, art and artisans. For centuries, Venetians have been producing magnificent glass pieces of every description. Our new range has all the features you’d expect in coloured designer glass – brilliance, transparency, sophistication. Full glass bricks can be difficult to cut, therefore our entire Venetian Glass brick collection can be produced in half sizes - 110x110x76.
